After many requests to review children’s film, we begin with a dissection of 2013’s Free Birds, a film about time traveling turkeys on a mission to destroy the first Thanksgiving. The plot seems ripe for vegan messaging, but we’ll see if it follows through. Plus we discuss the Million Dollar Vegan, a campaign aimed at getting the Pope to eat plant based for lent.
